First Edition, 4to, ix,[3],54,[2] pp., without half-title, the dedication is signed Aylmer Bourke Lambert, 13 folding etched and aquatint plates, the description of the plates is in Latin, a few spots and some minor marginal foxing, modern antique-style quarter calf, spine gilt, red morocco label, a nice copy. “What Sir Joseph Bank’s meetings were in his day, Mr. Lambert’s are at the present time; and every Saturday during the London season, his reception-rooms are crowded with persons eminent for their learning or talents, ......
