Description: The Plough Press, Leicester. 1967. [ii],9,[2]pp., one of 200 numbered copies, with a actual example of the process bound in, orig. printed wrappers. Stannard was a lithographic printer who retired to Oxford where he lived under the name of Harry Sanders. He wrote an encyclopaedic book on printing methods known as the ‘Art Exemplar, a guide to distinguish one species of print from another’, of which only some 10 copies were published. The contents list fifty-five printing processes; the section devoted to anaglyptography is here reprinted.
